Stampie
NFC loyalty wallet · iOS & Android
Paper loyalty cards get lost, and the apps that replace them usually ask customers to open a camera and scan a QR code. Stampie replaces all of that with a tap: hold the phone to the NFC tag at the till and the stamp lands in the customer’s wallet. We designed and built the whole product — the iOS and Android app, the panel each business uses to run its cards, the admin behind it and Stripe subscriptions — and shipped it to both app stores.
A digital loyalty-card wallet for cafés and restaurants: customers tap their phone on an NFC tag to collect a stamp, each business runs its cards from a web panel, and subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Shipped to the App Store and Google Play.

The results
App stores — shipped to the App Store and Google Play from one React Native codebase
Android models in the NFC antenna database that shows each user exactly where to tap
To collect a stamp — no camera, no QR code, no paper card
What this means for your business
If you have a product idea that needs a real app, a business dashboard and billing working together on day one, this is the kind of end-to-end build we do.
One tap instead of a scan
Customers collect stamps by holding the phone to an NFC tag at the counter — no camera, no QR code, no queue. Android phones hide the NFC antenna in different places, so the app shows each user where to tap on their own model, using a database of 40+ devices.
Businesses run their own programme
Each venue manages its branches, NFC tags, rewards, coupons and announcements from a web panel; the platform team sees businesses, users, statistics and app versions from an admin panel above it.
Billing that runs itself
Monthly and yearly plans are sold through Stripe checkout, with a customer portal for upgrades and cancellations and webhooks that keep each account’s access in sync.
The brief
Loyalty cards that never get left at home.
Independent cafés and restaurants rely on loyalty cards, and paper ones fail in predictable ways: they get lost, forgotten or faked, and the business learns nothing about who comes back. The digital alternatives usually trade that for friction — open an app, open the camera, scan a code, wait.
Stampie set out to make collecting a stamp faster than handing over a paper card, and to give each business a programme it could run on its own.
How we built it
One app, two stores, two panels and a billing system.
The app is built once in React Native and ships to both iOS and Android. Customers sign in with Apple or Google, browse venues, keep every card in one wallet, and collect stamps by tapping an NFC tag at the till. Notifications, coupons and announcements bring them back.
NFC on Android is less predictable than on iPhone: the antenna sits in a different place on almost every model. We built a database of 40+ devices so the app can show each user exactly where to hold their phone.
On the web, each business gets a panel for its branches, tags, rewards and announcements, and the platform team gets an admin panel for businesses, users, statistics and app versions. Plans are sold monthly or yearly through Stripe, with a customer portal and webhooks keeping access in sync.
